Sweden is one of the
largest countries in Europe and placed on the Northern Peninsula called Scandinavia. It is
surrounded by Norway in the west and Finland in the east. It has a extremely long
coastline, which is one of the reasons why it rains quite alot there.

It not only rains alot,
it snows quite alot too.

Birches are very common
trees in Sweden, and also my favourite one.

The so called
"Dala horse" they can be in different colours, but the classic one is red like
this one. They are made in the province called "Dalarna" thereof the name.

Red houses. In the city
of Falun there is a big coppermine. From the copper you can make red paint that is very
cheap and durable. That's why almost all houses on the Swedish countryside are red.

"Kantareller" or chantrelles as they are called in English. Swedes like to go out in the forest and pick this little delicasy. Fry them in some butter and put them on some bread! |
The Nobel Price is a Swedish award that is given to smart people around the world once a year by the King of Sweden. |
